I had left my home early in the morning, 2014 — 2022

Based on memories from my childhood, family archives and photographs I took recently and turned to an autobiographical visual journey to the places that used to be my home. 
Presented work is a documentary research of the past through the prism of my personal history. The Immigration topic allowed me to go beyond my personal story — it is not only about the history of a particular family, but about the entire generation of people living in the Caucasus after the collapse of the Soviet Union, who were forced to move in search for a better life. My goal is to try to reconnect, find the lost roots and learn about the present while searching for the clues in the past.
